Helping Native American Veterans in the New York Area

We also make extraordinary efforts to efficiently administer benefits to Native American Veterans in western New York. The Seneca Nation of Indians, one of the largest tribes in the area, has more than 7,200 enrolled Veterans. To expand outreach, we participate in various outreach events in the area attended by Native Americans. In addition, our Education Case Manager provides general information to attendees regarding VA benefits. The Buffalo Regional Office also participates in an annual health fair for the Oneida Nation, which is near Syracuse, N.Y.
