Work Status for Employees

 

Situation Update:

The Hartford Regional Office is OPEN. Employees are expected to report to their worksite or begin telework on time.

Normal operating procedures are in effect. Employees account for their hours of work by WATS:

  • Working at a worksite (typically the office) in the DC area,
  • Alternative work schedules (AWS) day off,
  • Teleworking (at home or at a telework center), or
  • Scheduled leave or other paid time off.

During a VA-declared emergency:

If you cannot make it to work and are unable to contact your supervisor, then go to the VA Employee Emergency Information website to post information about your status in this emergency.
