Veterans Town Hall Event

Representatives will be available to advise Veterans about benefits available through both VBA and VHA .

VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System and the Pittsburgh Regional Office Veterans Benefits Administration are hosting a Veterans Town Hall at the heath care system's University Drive campus from 1:00pm to 2:30pm on Friday, December 12.

This will be the second town hall held since September, allowing Veterans and the general public direct access to VA health care and benefits representatives. Front line employees from both organizations will be again be on hand to resolve individual questions about health care scheduling and billing, as well as benefits eligibility and claims.

The event will take place in the second floor Learning Exchange at VA Pittsburgh's University Drive campus. Free parking is available in the garage.

The Department of Veterans (VA), James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center is hosting a town hall for Veterans, family members, Veteran Service Organizations, and the public to provide an opportunity for feedback on VA operations. Employees will be on hand to assist Veterans with health care or benefits related questions.

The meeting is open to the public and the media and VA is inviting Congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other community partners.
