Regularly Occurring Outreach at local VAMCs

The Pittsburgh Regional Office delegates a representative to conduct regularly occurring outreach at local VA Medical Centers in and around the Pittsburgh area, as described below:

Location: University Drive, Main building, 1st floor (Next to the Patient Advocate, main floor)
When: 1st Wednesday of each month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: All Veterans

Location: Aspinwall, (Palliative Care; Building 51 Room 1A117 in the B hall of 1 South)
When: 2nd Tuesday of the month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: Hospitalized and Hospice Veterans

Location: Aspinwall, Building 69 (Domiciliary)
When: 2nd Tuesday of the month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: Homeless Veterans, CWT participants, Domiciliary Residents

Location: Butler VAMC, OEF/OIF Clinic
When: 3rd Friday of the month | 8:00am-4:30pm
Target Audience: All Veterans

Stand Down Pittsburgh 2016


When: September 24, 2016 | 8:00am-3:00pm
Location: Stage AE (400 North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212)

Stand Down Pittsburgh is a day of care and free services for homeless Veterans or Veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless. 2016 Stand Down will be held at Stage AE on September 24th from 8:00am-3:00pm.

Free services include breakfast, lunch, hot showers, haircuts, personal care items, clothing, counseling, legal assistance, ID cards, housing resources, employment resources, social security, VA healthcare, general healthcare, and Veterans benefits.

Representatives from the Pittsburgh VA Regional Office will be on hand to discuss benefits eligibility and accept claims.
