Pension Management Center

The St. Paul Pension Management Center (PMC) was established in 2001 to process most adjustments to VA income based benefits. These included Non-Service Connected Disability Pension, Death Pension and Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) for surviving parents. In 2008, VA also consolidated original live and death pension claims to St. Paul from the Home Regional Offices within our jurisdiction. The map below shows jurisdictional areas covered by each PMC. PMCs process all pension related actions including original claims and adjustments to benefit payments necessitated by changes in income, net worth, or dependency status. All issues related to Service-Connected Compensation continue to be processed at local VA Regional Offices, with the exception of Minnesota dual claims (in which both Service-Connected Compensation and Non-Service Connected Disability Pension are claimed on the same application). While serving the largest geographical region of the three PMCs, St. Paul is committed to providing outstanding customer service and timely, accurate claims processing. We are dedicated to serving those who have served.
