Event Description:
Veterans and their families are invited to join the Winston-Salem Regional Benefit Office at the Veteran Benefits Experience Center & Stand Down event hosted by American Legion District 9 and New Hanover Veterans Council, in cooperation with Congressman David Rouzer.
Veterans Benefits and Health Administrations and Veterans Service Organizations representatives will be onsite to help with the following VA benefits and services:

  • Burial Benefits
  • Claims and appeals
  • Benefit information
  • Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment
  • Substance abuse and mental health screening
  • Bereavement and military sexual trauma counseling
