As part of a larger effort provided by the VA Outreach, Transition and Economic Development (OTED), this event focuses on select geographic regions containing large Veteran populations. Since November 2018, OTED has connected over 1,000 attendees to meaningful employment opportunities.

OTED launched Economic Investment (EI) Initiatives to connect large Veteran populations of specific geographic regions with benefits, services, and employment opportunities. EI Initiatives include follow-up visits to the selected geographic region six months, 18 months, and three years after the initial event. OTED hosts EI Initiatives twice annually in coordination with VA regional offices.
