Kathryn Malin was selected as Director of the Boise Regional Office in August 2013. She administers the full range of benefits and services to an estimated 123,000 Veterans, Service members, their families and survivors in Idaho.
William "Bill" Mitchell was selected as the Veteran Service Center Manager in August 2024. He began his career as a Veterans Service Representative (VSR) at the Boise Regional Office office in April 2007. He served in a number of positions including super senior VSR, coach and assistant service center manager. Bill is a retired US Army First Sergeant, and truly feels honored to continue to serve Veterans.
David “Max” Maxwell was selected as the Division Chief for the Boise Regional Office Veteran Readiness & Employment (VR&E) program in August 2023.
Max previously held the positions of assistant VR&E officer and vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Boise VR&E office.
Prior to working for VBA, he was a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation serving individuals with disabilities within his local community.
Max holds licensure in professional counseling and is certified as a rehabilitation counselor and as a vocational evaluator.
He was a participant in the VR&E program, receiving his Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Idaho.
