Shawn Bohn was promoted to this position in March 2016. He previously served as Veterans Service Center Manager at the Sioux Falls RO. He administers benefits and services to the 155,675 Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in North Dakota, South Dakota, and 15 counties in northwestern Minnesota. He is responsible for delivering about $422 million in annual benefit payments to more than 34,000 Veterans. He leads employees staffing the ROs in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Fort Meade, S.D., and in Fargo and Bismarck, N.D.
Shane Bryan was promoted to serve as the Fargo Veterans Service Center Manager (VSCM) in July 2024. Mr. Bryan leads a staff of over 75 employees in the delivery of Disability Compensation and Ancillary Benefits as well as Benefits Advising and Outreach Services to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors throughout North Dakota. Prior to his assignment to the Fargo Regional Office (RO), Shane was the Assistant VSCM at the Ft. Harrison RO, a Coach in the Waco RO, and an RVSR and VSR in the Phoenix RO. Shane served on active duty as an Enlisted Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army for eight years. He was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and Germany, and served on multiple deployments during his service.
Wayne Moten came on board with the Fargo and Sioux Falls Regional Office as the Supervisor Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (SVRC) in July 2022. He became Acting Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer (Acting VREO) in December 2022. He was selected as the Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer (VREO) in November 2023. He currently leads a team of 13 employees located in two states and three different locations. Wayne’s federal career started in 1997 as a Food Inspector for the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) in Alabama. He resigned from this employment in 2000 to pursue another avenue. He came back to federal employment in 2013 as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) with the Muskogee Regional Office in Oklahoma.
