Services Offered by the Huntington Regional Office

VA’s Huntington Regional Office (RO) administers a variety of services, including Compensation, Education, Insurance, Loan Guaranty, Pension, and Veteran Readiness and Employment for Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in West Virginia (excluding four counties in the northern Panhandle). We offer the following additional services:

  • Counseling about eligibility for VA benefits and how to apply
  • Information about VA health care and memorial benefits
  • Outreach to Veterans, including to those who are homeless or at risk for homelessness and to older, minority, and women Veterans
  • Public affairs

Providing Access Points for Veteran Readiness and Employment Services

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors provide program participants with convenient access to services and enhances case management coordination with medical centers.  These services are offered at the following locations:

Vet Center - Charleston
VA Medical Center - Clarksburg
VA Medical Center - Beckley
VA Medical Center - Martinsburg
WV University - Morgantown

Providing Virtual Access Sites

The Huntington Regional Office provides virtual services at WV Department of Veterans Assistance locations throughout West Virginia. These services provide Veterans with convenient access to benefits, without having to travel to the Regional Office. Virtual Access Sites are available at three locations right now but will be available at all WVDVA benefits offices by the end of 2022. Veterans and Claimants can drop in one of the following offices Monday- Friday, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, to be connected virtually with our Public Contact team. 

  • Charleston Benefits Office- 300 Technology Drive in South Charleston
  • Lewisburg Benefits Office- 30 Red Oaks Shopping Center in Ronceverte
  • Logan Benefits Office - 120 Nick Savas Drive in Logan

In person services are provided at the following locations:

  • Beckly Vet Center - 3rd Wednesday monthly (9 am - 3pm)
  • Charleston Vet Center - 3rd Tuesday monthly (9am - 3pm)
  • Henlawson Vet Ceneter- Last Wednesday monthly ( 9 am - 3 pm)
  • Huntington Vet Center - 2nd & 4th Tuesday monthly (9am - 3pm)
