E.J. McQuade was appointed Director of the Providence Regional Office (RO) on July 28, 2016. Prior to this position, Mr. McQuade served as Director of the Togus (ME) RO from February 2014 to July 2016. Mr. McQuade served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) as a Communications Officer from 1999-2005 and served in the USMC Reserve until 2012.
Zarina Chambers was appointed Assistant Director of the Providence Regional Office (RO) on October 8, 2021. Prior to this position, Zarina served as Chief of Financial Operations and Reengineering Division with the Office of Financial Management (OFM) from March 2018 to October 2021. Zarina is a proud Navy Veteran.
Kenneth Gareau took this position in July 2013. He is responsible for providing benefits to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in Rhode Island and five counties in southeastern Massachusetts. He is responsible for administering $18 million in monthly benefits to more than 18,000 beneficiaries. He is a decorated Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Jesse Rector was appointed to this position in May 2022. Mr. Rector began his VA career in 2007 at the Atlanta VA Regional Office as a Veterans Claims Examiner and held positions of increasing responsibility, culminating as a Supervisory Veterans Service Representative. In 2015, Mr. Rector accepted a position as the Officer in Charge of the Landstuhl, Germany Benefits Delivery at Discharge Office. From 2019 to 2022, he worked for Pension and Fiduciary Service in Washington D.C. as Chief of Training and Chief of Data Analytics and Project Management.
Nicole Robert took this position in February 2012. Before this, she was Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Hartford RO.
