Donna Meyer-Hickel was appointed Director of the Wichita VA Regional Office July 2019. The Wichita RO administers a variety of services and benefits including Compensation and Pension; Veteran Readiness and Employment; and Integrated Disability Examination System.

 Maurice Cox

Veterans Service Center Manager: Maurice Cox

Maurice Cox was appointed Veterans Service Center Manager of the Wichita Regional Office in 2023. He administers benefits and services to Servicemembers, Veterans, their families and survivors in the Veterans Service Center and oversees 101 employees. He previously served as a Coach in the DC Decision review Operations Center (DROC). 

  Maricela G. Martinez-Torres

Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Officer: Maricela G. Martinez-Torres

Maricela G. Martinez-Torres was appointed to Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer in January 2020. She oversees direct services to Servicemembers and Veterans in Kansas who are receiving benefits to return to work and services to improve their level of independence in their home and community. In her VA career she has been a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor since 2012.
