Koryn Van Eimeren was appointed as Director of the Fort Harrison Regional Office in May 2022. She provides executive oversight, leadership, and direction to just over 100 employees. She is responsible for administering a wide array of benefits in the areas of Disability Compensation and Veteran Readiness and Employment to approximately 100,000 Veterans and their families throughout Montana, with annual monetary benefits paid to Montana residents exceeding $517 million.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Van Eimeren served the Veterans Service Center Manager (VSCM) at the Fort Harrison Regional Office, managing Disability Compensation claims processing. She has been in that position since 2004. She began her career as a Veterans Claims Examiner and progressed to a Rating Specialist and Supervisory Veterans Service Representative prior to her appointment as the VSCM.
Mr. David Wirtz was selected for the position of Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer (VREO) in November 2018. Mr. Wirtz leads a staff of 7 employees in the delivery of a wide range of retraining and employment services to Service-Connected Disabled Veterans within the state of Montana. He is a 7-year Veteran of the U.S. Army, Active Duty and served two deployments in Iraq. Mr. Wirtz graduated from Carroll College in 2010 with his undergraduate degree and then obtained his Masters’ in Rehabilitation Counseling from Utah State University in 2012.
Eric Lilletvedt was appointed as Veterans Service Center Manager (VSCM) in September 2022. Mr. Lilletvedt leads a staff of over 100 employees in the delivery of Disability Compensation and Ancillary Benefits as well as Benefits Advising and Outreach Services to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors throughout Montana. Prior to his appointment as VSCM, Eric served in a variety of positions spanning nearly 26 years in the Adjudication and Veterans Service Center Divisions. He matriculated at Montana State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Fish and Wildlife Management (92).
Mr. Dennis Ecord was selected for the position of Chief, Support Services Division in April 2020. Mr. Ecord oversees a staff of 6 employees who provide finance operations, mail operations, facility maintenance as well as acquisitions and contract management. Dennis is a 30-year Veteran of the United States Army and Army Reserve. Dennis has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Montana State University (87) and a Master’s in Business Administration, Project Management from Grantham University (13).
