Regional Office Director: Kerrie Witty
Kerrie Witty wwas appointed as Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office in Lincoln Nebraska on December 27, 2015. She served as Veterans Service Center Manager in the VA Regional Offices in Lincoln, Nebraska and Chicago, Illinois and Assistant Director in St. Petersburg, Florida before becoming a Regional Office Director.
Assistant Director: Aaron Filsinger
Aaron Filsinger was selected as the Assistant Director at the Lincoln (NE) Regional Office effective January 16, 2022. Prior to his selection as Assistant Director, Aaron served as the Veterans Service Center Manager (VSCM) at the Indianapolis Regional Office from August 2020 until January 2022.
Veterans Service Center Manager: Jerrod Wilson
Mr. Jerrod Wilson took this position in December 2017. He directs a division of roughly 200 employees focused at processing claims for Veterans with service-connected disabilities. Jerrod started his career with VA in 2004 as a Veterans Service Representative.
Chief, Support Services Division: Joseph Hlavac
Mr. Joseph Hlavac took this position in November 2009. He oversees a team of employees who provide administrative and logistical support to the RO’s six-state region. He administers a $27 million annual budget. He began his VA career in 2007 as a Veterans Service Representative.
Fiduciary Hub Manager: Courtney Morehead
Ms. Courtney Morehead took this position in August 2011. She supervises the fiduciary program covering the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. She began her VA career in 2001 as a Veterans Service Representative.
Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Officer: Rebecca Luther
Rebecca Luther was selected as the Veterans Readiness and Employment Officer (VREO) at the Lincoln (NE) Regional Office effective November 6, 2022. Prior to her selection as VREO, Rebecca served as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Lincoln Regional Office from July 2012 to May 2019 and returned June 2020 to November 2022.
