VA’s Lincoln Regional Office (RO) administers a variety of services, including Compensation, Education, Insurance, Loan Guaranty, Pension, and Veteran Readiness and Employment for Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in Nebraska. We offer the following additional services:

  • Counseling about eligibility for VA benefits and how to apply
  • Information about VA health care and memorial benefits
  • Outreach to Veterans, including those who are homeless or at risk for homelessness and older, minority, and women Veterans
  • Public affairs

Serving as a Fiduciary Hub

Lincoln was selected as one of two fiduciary hub sites. We serve the most vulnerable Veterans and other VA beneficiaries who are part of the fiduciary program from the following states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Our final station was consolidated on March 26, 2012. The Lincoln Fiduciary Hub is now responsible for approximately 17,000 Veterans and other VA beneficiaries. Accordingly, the staff size of the Lincoln Fiduciary Hub has increased to 108 full-time employees located in Lincoln and in the other areas we cover.
