Jennifer Vandermolen 

Director: Jennifer Vandermolen

Jennifer Vandermolen was appointed Director of the Pittsburgh Regional Office on Oct. 23, 2011. She administers benefits and services to more than 450,000 Veterans in the RO’s service area. Her duties also extend to Veterans living in most foreign countries and those moving through two Benefits Delivery at Discharge sites located in Germany and Korea. Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in VA Benefits Administration.

Jenny Willettt

Assistant Director: Jenny Willett

Jenny Willett was appointed Assistant Director of the Pittsburgh Regional Office in May 2021. Prior to her selection, Jenny Willett served as the Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer for the VA Regional Offices in Boston, Massachusetts, Manchester, New Hampshire, and White River Junction, Vermont from April 2019 to May 2021 and as a Management Analyst for the Director's Office in Veteran Readiness and Employment Service from August 2016 to April 2019. She began her federal career as a Vocational Rehabiltation Counselor at the Togus Regional Office from 2009 to 2016.

 Lisa Stone

Veterans Service Center Manager: Lisa Stone

Lisa Stone was appointed Veteran Service Center Manager (VSCM) of the Pittsburgh Regional Office, effective August 2023. Prior to her appointment as VSCM, Lisa Stone served as the Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager in Buffalo VA Regional Office where she managed daily operation in the Veterans Service Center. Lisa joined VBA as a Rating Veterans Service Representative (RVSR) at the Providence VA Regional Office in February 2001.

After a brief time away from VA, Lisa returned to VBA in 2008 at the Manchester VA Regional Office where she held several positions, including RVSR, Coach, Rating Quality Review Specialist, Decision Review Officer, and Acting VSCM.

Lisa is an alumnus of North Carolina State University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.

Shienke Kimbro

Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer: Shienke Kimbro

Shienke Kimbro was appointed Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer at the Pittsburgh Regional Office in January 2024. Ms. Kimbro comes to Pittsburgh from Portland and Anchorage Regional Offices' Veteran Readiness and Employment Division as the Assistant Veteran Readiness and Employment Officer. Shienke joined the Portland and Anchorage Regional Office in October 2022 and assisted in the transition of combining the two stations. She provides administrative expertise in all phases of rehabilitation activities including counseling, case management, rehabilitation plan development, and job development and placement.

Shienke is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and has over 15 years of case management and Rehabilitation Counseling experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, State of Georgia, and other private sectors. Her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs began in 2012.

During her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs, she served as a traditional VRC and Integrated Disability Evaluation System VRC in the National Capital VA, Decatur, and New York Regional Offices before stepping into the management role in 2022 with the Portland Regional Office.

Robert S. Shields

Support Services Chief: Robert S. Shields

Robert S. Shields was appointed Chief, Support Services Division of the Pittsburgh Regional Office, effective December 25, 2016. Prior to his selection, Robert served as a Human Resources Specialist for the Regional Office. Robert is retired from the United States Army.
