More About the Sioux Falls Regional Office

Reaching Native American Veterans

The Sioux Falls RO works to reach Veterans among our largest minority population: Native Americans. Our Minority Veteran Program Coordinator (MVPC) participates in a variety of outreach events on a regular basis. Our Military Service Coordinator attends the Cheyenne River Veterans Enrollment and Information Fair and Oglala Lakota Enrollment and Information Fair. The MVPC also co-chairs the American Indian Veterans Advisory Council and is a member of the EEO Advisory Council.

Working to End Homelessness Among Veterans in South Dakota

Our RO’s Homeless Veterans Coordinator (HVC) also performs a number of outreach activities to reduce homelessness among Veterans, including attending events allowing for one-on-one counseling to Veterans and visiting facilities to directly assist Veterans who are homeless.
