Mark M. Bilosz was appointed as Director of the Winston-Salem, VA Regional Office on July 10, 2016. He is responsible for administering non-medical VA benefits and services to North Carolina Veterans and their families. These benefits include compensation, and Vocational Readiness and Employment. In addition, Mr. Bilosz oversees the Benefits Eligibility Support Team (BEST) division and the Eastern North Carolina Extension Site (ENCES) National Call Center. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director of the Togus VA Regional Office, the Director of the Salt Lake City VA Regional Office, the Deputy Director of Compensation Service, and Acting Director of Compensation Service.
Craleta G. Robinson was appointed as the Assistant Director of the Winston-Salem Regional Benefit Office in June 2023. Prior to this appointment, she was the Veterans Service Center Manager at the Jackson VA Regional Office.
Hillary Jedlicka was appointed as an Assistant Director of the Winston-Salem Regional Benefit Office in January 2023. She is responsible for assisting with the effective administration of federal benefits for Veterans and their families throughout the state of North Carolina.
Carolyn Lightfoot was promoted to this position in June 2008. She oversees the daily operations of the Veteran Readiness and Employment division, which has 73 employees who provide rehabilitative services to more than 3,600 Veterans and Servicemembers in North Carolina. Under her leadership, the division has received three year-end performance awards.
Kimberley Schillhammer joined the Winston-Salem Regional Benefit Office in October 2016. She previously served as the Veteran Service Center Manager in Providence, Rhode Island and has most recently worked at VA Headquarters supporting the Veterans Benefits Management System program for paperless claims processing.
