Virtual appointments are preferred, or you can make an appointment for in-person benefit assistance at our office using VERA - Home (force.com), or walk-in to meet with a representative Monday through Thursday 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Due to the limited waiting area, we ask that each visitor limit to one additional person to attend with them during their appointment. 

Our Public Contact Team is also available for appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Kernersville Health Care Center located at 1695 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville, NC 27284. Please go to VERA - Home (force.com) to schedule an appointment.

The Durham VA Health Care System (Greenville VA Health Care Center location) offers virtual/video one-on-one appointments with Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) counselors for Veterans, service members and caregivers.

The appointments offer Veterans, service members and caregivers an opportunity to inquire about the following:

  • VA benefits claims status
  • Service-connected disability compensation and ancillary benefits
  • Non-service-connected pension benefits
  • Veterans Readiness and Employment services
  • VA Home Loan
  • VA Education
  • VA Life Insurance

There are two ways to sign up to meet virtually with a VBA benefits specialist at the Greenville VA Health Care Center. Either call 252-830-2149 or ask any medical support assistant at the Greenville VA Health Care Center to schedule your video appointment. These VBA appointments are currently taking place every Wednesday. Appointment participants should arrive at the front desk of the Greenville VA Health Care Center, 401 Moye Blvd, Greenville, 27834.
