The Department of Veterans Affairs Winston-Salem Regional Office is hosting our second annual Homeless Veteran Stand Down.

This is your chance to sit down one-on-one with claims processors who can help you file claims for Veteran and survivor benefits, get updates on pending claims, and answer questions about additional benefits you may be entitled to.

Other services available include mental health counseling from the VA Mobile Vet Center, Veteran Readiness and Employment, and many other community Veteran resources.

Veterans are encouraged to bring their DD-214 or VA ID.

There is no charge to attend this event.

Pre-registration is not required. Walk-ins are encouraged, and all Veterans will be seen. If you wish to pre-register, visit Eventbrite.

Free lunch is available to all Veterans in attendance.

The event is on the Winston-Salem Transit Authority bus line. The closest stop is #47190. Find your route at Winston-Salem Transit Authority.
