Veteran Resource and Job Fair, PA

Location: University of Pittsburgh in Bradford, McDowell Fieldhouse, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA
   
Event: Veterans and their families are invited to a free, one-stop shop to learn about VA services and community resources available during the Veteran Resource and Job Fair on Thursday, November 16. Join the Pittsburgh Regional Benefit Office  at 6 p.m. for a brief welcome and introduction to several key programs and services available on-site during the Resource & Job Fair:
 
 
  • Erie VA Medical Center & McKean VA Clinic health experts will provide FREE blood pressure screenings and flu shots for Veterans eligible for VA care,
  • VA elgibility & enrollment representatives,
  • VA Behavioral Health Clinic Staff - to provide mental health information,
  • VA Women Veterans Health Staff - to provide women-specific support,
  • Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) representatives - to answer questions regarding benefits and/or claims,
  • Univeristy of Pittsburgh at Bradford will have representatives on site from the Admissions Office to discuss Educational Opportunities at Pitt-Bradford and the use of GI-Bill/Veteran's Benefits,
  • Vet Center - to provide readjustment counseling to combat Vets,
  • McKean County & Community Veteran Service Officers - to assist Veterans in filing claims,
  • Careerlink Representatives- to provide employment information,
  • Job Fair Vendors - local business and State Government representatives will showcase their businesses and current career opportunities!
