Pritz Navaratnasingam

Director: Pritz Navaratnasingam

Pritz Navaratnasingam was appointed as Director of Seattle VA Regional Office (RO), effective October 2014. In his role as Director of the Seattle RO, he is responsible for over 800 full-time employees and administering approximately $1.6 billion in annual compensation and pension benefits to over 580,000 Veterans and their dependents in Washington State. 


John Lombardo

Assistant Director: John Lombardo

John Lombardo was appointed as Assistant Director with the Veterans Benefits Administration, Seattle Regional Office, in May 2021.  He started working for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Seattle Regional Office, in March 2010 as a Staff Assistant.  John held positions of increasing responsibility including Continental District Lead Management Analyst, Assistant Special Mission Program Officer, Acting Special Mission Program Officer, and Acting Assistant Director.  He is a graduate of the 2018 Assistant Directors Development Program.



Assistant Director: Shelley Arzola

Shelley Arzola was appointed as Assistant Director of Seattle VA Regional Office (RO), effective May 2021. Ms. Arzola is a Veteran who served in the United States Army. She started her career with the Department of Veteran Affairs, Denver Regional Office (RO), in September 2011. Ms. Arzola served in several diverse roles in various VBA Organizations before joining the San Diego RO as an Assistant Veteran Service Center Manager (AVSCM) in April 2020.


Stephen Strope, Veteran Service Center Manager

Veteran Service Center Manager: Stephen Strope

Mr. Strope was appointed as the Veteran Service Center Manager (VSCM) in May of 2017. In this position, he administers Compensation and Pension programs and provides other assistance regarding VA benefits and services to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families, and their survivors in the Seattle Regional Office service area. He previously served as a Coach at the Philadelphia Regional Office. 


Decision Review Operations Center Manager: William (Sean) Raleigh

Sean Raleigh was appointed as the Decision Review Operations Center Manager (DROCM) in January 2021. He currently leads over 300 highly skilled employees tasked with executing the Veteran Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017. Prior to that, Sean gained experience in various Veterans Benefits Administration programs to include Pension, Fiduciary, and the National Call Center. Sean served eight years of military service in the United States Marine Corps and the Minnesota National Guard. During that time, he deployed to over ten different countries including two tours in Iraq. 


Beorn Kjeldsen

Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) Special Missions Program Officer (SMPO):  Beorn Kjeldsen

Beorn began his VA career in 2009 as a Veterans Service Representative in the Seattle Regional Office, was promoted to RVSR, and later became a Director’s Office Management Analyst, Assistant Coach, Coach, Assistant DROC Manager and, most recently, the SMPO. His career experience includes VSC, Nehmer, IDES, and Appeals Modernization. Beorn attended the University of Washington (BA) and Seattle University School of Law (JD). He worked at a newspaper for 10 years prior to attending law school.


Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Officer: David Boyd

David Boyd is responsible for providing VR&E services for Veterans in Washington and western Idaho. Prior to joining VA, Mr. Boyd served in the U.S. Army. Among other assignments, he patrolled the German border during the Cold War, commanded tanks in the European 7th Corps during Operation Desert Storm, and jumped out of airplanes with the 82nd Airborne Division.


Change Management Agent: Allison Conn

Allison joined the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) as a Veterans Service Representative (VSR) at the Seattle Regional Office (RO) in March 2010. She was recently promoted to the role of Change Management Agent within the Seattle RO Director’s office.  Prior to her current assignment, Allison was a Rating Veterans Service Representative (RVSR) and graduated from RVSR Challenge in August 2011. Allison was selected as Supervisory Veterans Service Representative in January 2019 and graduated Supervisory Management Training in November 2019.
