Situation Update

The RO is not yet open to all employees due to COVID. 

The Anchorage Regional Office and Wasilla Veteran Center will resume conducting in-person benefits counseling effective Monday, June 14, 2021, on a limited basis.

For VBA employees working at the Regional Office or out based locations, face masks are optional. However, face masks must be worn at all times in public facing areas where social distancing cannot be maintained.  When leaving VBA space to go to the restroom, breakroom, hallways, etc. you must wear a face covering.


During a VA-declared emergency:

If you cannot make it to work and are unable to contact your supervisor, then go to the VA Employee Emergency Information website to post information about your status in this emergency.
