Services Offered by the San Juan Regional Office

VA’s San Juan Regional Office (RO) administers a variety of services, including Compensation, Education, Insurance, Loan Guaranty, Pension, Military Sexual Trauma and, Veteran Readiness and Employment for Veterans.  Our services are offered to Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We offer the following additional services:

  • Counseling about eligibility for VA benefits and how to apply
  • Information about VA Health Care and Memorial Benefits
  • Outreach to Veterans, including those who are homeless or at risk for homelessness.  In addition our services include older, minority, and women Veterans
  • Public Affairs

Virtual or in-person appointments can be scheduled at your convenience by calling (787) 772-7371, (787) 772-7398; via email at APPOINTMENTS.VBASAJ@va.gov or by using the Visitor Engagement and Reporting Application (VERA) via https://va.my.site.com/VAVERA/s/

VERA is a self-service portal available for visitors to schedule virtual or face-to-face appointments. Appointment can be scheduled through the VERA portal in one of the following three ways:
