VBA Education April Office Hours
Note-Regarding R6 Delay: In our previous communication you were notified that the Department of Veterans Affairs payment system would undergo modernization upgrades to facilitate the integration of Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) payments processing from the Benefits Delivery Network (BDN) to the Enterprise Management of Payments, Workload, and Reporting (eMPWR) system.
This modernization deployment has been briefly delayed so that additional testing can take place to ensure a smooth system transition. This means that during the period of April 26, through May 5, 2024, you will not encounter delays with the Post-911 GI Bill benefit status field updating or with automated processing.
You can continue to conduct daily work as usual in Enrollment Manager. VA will provide notification of the updated dates that the systems will undergo modernization upgrades once additional testing has been completed.
