Our Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) Builders are essential to the delivery of the SAH grant to our Veterans.
Your expertise in adaptive construction and design and local code requirements is essential for our program's success. However, we realize that aspects of the SAH process may differ from how builders normally manage their projects. We've provided training below to help you navigate the SAH program as a builder supporting our eligible Veterans during the home building/adaptation process. We've included essential information on how to get started as a new builder, how to participate in the program, and information on the various stages of the process.
If you have not done so already, please register with VA to obtain your VA Builder ID number on our SAH Builder Registration Information page.
The training modules below are arranged in order of occurrence within the SAH process for ease of reference. Please reach out to your SAH Agent with any questions regarding the content of these modules.
