Unfortunately, you are not eligible for Service Disabled Veterans Insurance because you were not released from active service on or after April 25, 1951 with an other than dishonorable discharge.
Has it been less than 2 years since VA notified you of your new service-connected disability or are you currently waiting for a rating for your service-connected disability?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for Service Disabled Veterans Insurance because you were not granted a new service-connected disability within the past 2 years.
Important Note: To be eligible, you must be in good health except for your service-connected disability. We will evaluate all health conditions that are not service-connected. Information about any health conditions should be included on your application.
